Acerola berries are a rich source of vitamin C. Vitamin C is a protective antioxidant that provides more even skin tone and stimulates collagen synthesis.
Hyaluronic acid provides continuous moisture to the skin by binding up to 1000 times its weight in water.
Organic aloe vera is moisturizing, calming and has healing properties.
Organic witch hazel has been used for centuries as a natural healing remedy, with naturally astringent and calming properties.
Vitamin E is a protective antioxidant that prevents skin damages caused by free radicals.
Pro-vitamin B5 is essential for skin to function normally. Panthenol has skin moisturizing effects and maintains skin integrity due to its protective effects. It is easily absorbed deep into the dermis layer and provides deep hydration. Panthenol helps the skin maintain optimal health and promotes healing of tissues.

In an ex-vivo study, the stratum corneum contained five times more water 24 hours after treatment with cross-linked hyaluronic acid compared to the treatment with hyaluronic acid at the same concentration. Figure 1 illustrate the water binding effect of cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, xanthan, hyaluronic acid and cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
